Fission Country

Fission Country is a reflection on the ongoing developments of natural gas extraction in Pennsylvania and Ohio. I find that the physical splitting that occurs to shale during the process of hydraulic fracturing parallels with the social divide caused by this complex issue. It is through personal stories and attention to detail where I search for common ground in a subject matter full of controversy. This work represents one chapter of a multifaceted story in hopes to start a productive dialogue and enhance perspective.
